Mineral analysis of some Mothana desert and sedimentary soils

Abstract

Diagnosis investigation was made for some soils and oxides minerals in desert and sedimentary soils, Al-Muthanna governerate, which were restricts by GPS system. Subsequently, samples were collected from two desert soils sites samples depth (15-0) (15-30 cm) and two sedimentary, Samples were prepared for X-ray diffiration testing for the diagnosis of X-ray fluorescence for the detection and prediction of oxides in these soils. The results revealed that the predominance mineral was kaolinite, followed by mica and chlorite in desert sites. While the dominion of kaolinite and the Playgorskite were followed by chlorite in sedimentary sites. The percentage of iron oxides (1.42-1.48{8aa0d92a9d700de00931fb59e75e46e902b43698544c97f28f7bec3700555d1d}), aluminum (2.11-2.29{8aa0d92a9d700de00931fb59e75e46e902b43698544c97f28f7bec3700555d1d}), and silicon (21.23-20.93{8aa0d92a9d700de00931fb59e75e46e902b43698544c97f28f7bec3700555d1d}) were found in the desert site (1)In the desert site (2) iron oxides were between (1.61-3.12){8aa0d92a9d700de00931fb59e75e46e902b43698544c97f28f7bec3700555d1d}, aluminum (3.02-5.10){8aa0d92a9d700de00931fb59e75e46e902b43698544c97f28f7bec3700555d1d} and silicon (29.95-32.33{8aa0d92a9d700de00931fb59e75e46e902b43698544c97f28f7bec3700555d1d}) and high in the oxides of (CaO, MgO and ZrO2),Magnesium oxide (2.27-2.23{8aa0d92a9d700de00931fb59e75e46e902b43698544c97f28f7bec3700555d1d}), and zircon oxide (0.01-0.02{8aa0d92a9d700de00931fb59e75e46e902b43698544c97f28f7bec3700555d1d}) at the site (1)The percentage of calcium oxide between (20.80-24.90){8aa0d92a9d700de00931fb59e75e46e902b43698544c97f28f7bec3700555d1d} and magnesium oxide (2.52-3.52){8aa0d92a9d700de00931fb59e75e46e902b43698544c97f28f7bec3700555d1d}, zircon (0.02{8aa0d92a9d700de00931fb59e75e46e902b43698544c97f28f7bec3700555d1d}) in the second location, the sedimentary sites were the value of iron oxide between (6.26-6.25{8aa0d92a9d700de00931fb59e75e46e902b43698544c97f28f7bec3700555d1d}) of site (1) and( 5.87-5.81{8aa0d92a9d700de00931fb59e75e46e902b43698544c97f28f7bec3700555d1d}) for the site (2) and aluminum oxide (7.82-7.72{8aa0d92a9d700de00931fb59e75e46e902b43698544c97f28f7bec3700555d1d}) for the site (1)And (8.17-7.95{8aa0d92a9d700de00931fb59e75e46e902b43698544c97f28f7bec3700555d1d}) of site (2) and silicon oxide (33.22-31.71{8aa0d92a9d700de00931fb59e75e46e902b43698544c97f28f7bec3700555d1d}) of site (1) and (35.83-34.22{8aa0d92a9d700de00931fb59e75e46e902b43698544c97f28f7bec3700555d1d}) of site (2) The oxides of (CaO, MgO, ZrO2) (16.41-15.79{8aa0d92a9d700de00931fb59e75e46e902b43698544c97f28f7bec3700555d1d}) for site (1), (16.10-15.77{8aa0d92a9d700de00931fb59e75e46e902b43698544c97f28f7bec3700555d1d}) for site (2), magnesium oxide (4.23-4.06{8aa0d92a9d700de00931fb59e75e46e902b43698544c97f28f7bec3700555d1d}) for site (1) and (5.71-5.67{8aa0d92a9d700de00931fb59e75e46e902b43698544c97f28f7bec3700555d1d}) for site 2 and zircon oxide (0.01{8aa0d92a9d700de00931fb59e75e46e902b43698544c97f28f7bec3700555d1d})(1) and (0.01{8aa0d92a9d700de00931fb59e75e46e902b43698544c97f28f7bec3700555d1d}) of site (2).

Effect of adding of humic and fulvic acid on the availability of N.P.K, in the soil and number, weight of the root nodules and yield of broad been (Vicia Faba L.)

Abstract

A field experiment was conducted during the growing season of 2016 -20117, in Al-Muthanna province, to study N P K availability in soil, number and weight of root nodules and yield broad bean by adding HA and FA acid to soil. A simple experiment designed by using RCBD method included adding HA and FA acid (0, 5 ,10 ,15ml ha-1). Significant increases in N P K availabilities were accompainied with H2 treatment for N and K 32.76, 204ml.kg-1 sequentially.  H3 gave the highest rate of N.P.K. availabilities 28.62 ,14.30 , 155 ml kg-1 s, respectively. H3 gave highest nodule fresh weights 616.00 mg. Besides the highest rate of plant yield 169g, and 134.8g, as compared to control.

Influence of biological inoculant of Paenibacillus polymyxa on available phosphorous from phosphorous rock on growth and yield of Zea mays L

Abstract

A field experiment was carried out in 2015-2016 Atumn growing season at research station, Agric., College, Al-Muthana university. Isolation and diagnoztion of three isolates from paenibacillus polymyxa from three varying regions in south of Iraq, which were used as single bacterial inoculant or interaction with three levels of phosphorous rock on growth and yield of Zea mays L. cultivar 2018. According biochemistry tests, isolated bacteria seems to be belonged to P. polymyxa. Bacterial inoculated treatments showed superiorityies over control treatment. as well as on  interaction treatmentsInoculant with 80 Kg P Hacter-1 treatment was superior on the all other treatments in high plant , dry weight, total yield ,  {8aa0d92a9d700de00931fb59e75e46e902b43698544c97f28f7bec3700555d1d}P in vegetativeparts, p content in soil and number of bacteria in soil by 203.59cm, 183.84gm, 6355.33kg hacter-1, 0.311{8aa0d92a9d700de00931fb59e75e46e902b43698544c97f28f7bec3700555d1d}, 16.53mg kg-1, 0.117*106 Cfu gm soil-1, respectively. The percentage of increase recorded were 10.49, 21.59, 60.88, 152.58, 200.44, 180.70, respectively, as compared to treatments no inoculantion and phosphorous rock application

Effect of inoculation with local isolates of Azospirillum spp. and nitrogen Fertilizer in some specific qualities of wheat plant Triticum aestivum L.

Abstract

A field experiment was conducted to study the infleunce of the role of inoculation with Azospirillum SPP and different levels of nitrogen (0, 0.25, 0.5, and 0.75) of previously recommended nitrogen fertilizer, and the concentration of some elements in the soil of the wheat plant Triticum aestivum L. The nitrogen-stabilized isosperm bacteria was isolated from soil, where previously okra and maize grown on. They symbolized as A3, A2, A1, in addition to the comparison treatment symbolized A0. The results of the field experiment showed that the isolation of isolates was greater than that of the isolates. The results showed that A3 isolation was superior over A1 and A2 isolates in most detected traits. Since it gave the highest nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium levels were recorded at 50{8aa0d92a9d700de00931fb59e75e46e902b43698544c97f28f7bec3700555d1d} of flowering (2.91, 0.747, 2.33{8aa0d92a9d700de00931fb59e75e46e902b43698544c97f28f7bec3700555d1d}, respectively). Recorded nitrogen levels was higher with wheat, as compared to other crops. The results showed that the concentrations of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium  of N3 treatment were higher than the others at the end of the experiment (2.72, 0.810, 2.84{8aa0d92a9d700de00931fb59e75e46e902b43698544c97f28f7bec3700555d1d}). The interaction between Azospirillum SPP and N3 gave the highest values in all studied traits. Interference between isolation A3 and N3 was highest in protein (20.80{8aa0d92a9d700de00931fb59e75e46e902b43698544c97f28f7bec3700555d1d}).
