Abstract
This study was conducted in the field of poultry – College of Agriculture – University of Muthanna to study The effect of replacing laboratories chemically rice husks by maize in diet on some production performance of broiler. Three hundred broiler chicks (Ross 308), one day old. The birds were distributed to four treatment groups with three replicates per treatment (75 birds per treatment), The treatment groups as follow:
1 – the first group:- control.
2 – Second group:- Use laboratories chemically rice husks by 5{8aa0d92a9d700de00931fb59e75e46e902b43698544c97f28f7bec3700555d1d} in the diet.
3 – Third treatment: – Use laboratories chemically rice husks by 7{8aa0d92a9d700de00931fb59e75e46e902b43698544c97f28f7bec3700555d1d} in the diet.
4 – the fourth treatment:- used laboratories chemically rice husks by 10{8aa0d92a9d700de00931fb59e75e46e902b43698544c97f28f7bec3700555d1d} in the diet.
The results showed non-significant among treatments during the first and second week of the age of the bird in week body weight, weight gain, feed consumption and feed conversion.
In the fourth and fifth week of bird age, the T3 give a significant (P ≤ 0.05) increase of live body weight, weight gain and feed conversion compare with another treatment, as the percentage averages 1082.53 and 1776.51 for weekly body weight, 491.98 and 693.98 to the average weekly weight gain, 1.61 and 171 for the average feed conversion ratio, 792.09 and 1179.77 for the average weekly consumption of control treatment comparison T3.
T3 treatment also gave the lowest average proportion of total mortality was 1.33 and the highest was 319.00 a production index.
