Fakhrildin\u20f0<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> \u20f0 University of Baghdad \/ college of Agriculture,\u20f0 \u20f0\u20f0\u20f0 University of al-Nahrain \/ High Institute of Infertility Diagnosis and Assisted Reproductive Technology,<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> \u20f0\u20f0\u20f0 \u20f0 \u20f0 University of Al-Muthanna \/ college of Agriculture<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Volume 4, Issue 1, 2016 Page 133-140<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Abstract<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">This experiment was conducted at the station of sheep and goat research\u2019s \/ the state board of agricultural research ,the artificial Insemination Department belongs to the Ministry of\u00a0 Agriculture and in the High Institute of Infertility Diagnosis and Assisted Reproductive Technology at Al-Nahrain university, Baghdad, Iraq to investigate the effects of\u00a0 cryopreservation on some ram semen characteristics. Six Turkish Awassi rams were used for semen collection and evaluation. several samples of ram semen were collected and evaluated for Volume, pH,color,Sperm concentration ,Mass activity and individual motility using computer assisted semen analysis (CASA) Dead and abnormal sperm and DNA fragmentation index (DFI). Then the semen was diluted 1:19(semen: diluents v\/ v) using a Tris diluents and subjected into slow cryopreservation program .The semen samples were assessed after freezing-thawing. Cryopreservation causes a clear decadency in some parameters of ram semen .Result shows that there was a significantly (p&lt; 0.01) affect of cryopreservation on the dead sperms percentage (31.6 \u00b1 1.92), individual motility(IM)(31.33\u00b1 1.20{8aa0d92a9d700de00931fb59e75e46e902b43698544c97f28f7bec3700555d1d}) and DNA fragmentation index (DFI) (29.83\u00b1 4.45{8aa0d92a9d700de00931fb59e75e46e902b43698544c97f28f7bec3700555d1d}).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/muthjas.mu.edu.iq\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/Effect-of-cryopreservation-on-some-semen-parameters-of-Awassi-rams.pdf\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Full Text PDF<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mohamad A.Ishak\u20f0 , Ali.A.
